Aims: This study aimed to increase the utilization of biomass-derived from waste coconut and peanut shells by making them as briquettes, an alternative fuel. The scarcity petroleum because its increasingly limited existence encourages all parties take part in development discovery new energies. is expected overcome one most important many problems facing this country. method used research start with a literature materials various sources about benefits manufacturing briquettes biomass energy source be further tested for quality. involves heat test, water content ash test determination flying matter. Results: results showed that natural gas emissions were below threshold, namely 0-30 ppm CO, 0-3.6 H2S, undetectable NOx. After evaluation, addition 30% biomass, ignition time was reduced remaining unburned or bottom 68.68%. Conclusion, significance, impact study: help community involved related appropriate bio technology. It also eventually becomes solutions assist government solving fuels petroleum.
